Regardless of your 'opinion'

Hello:

Well this is the first time I have ever had a blog & I am not even sure if I know what I am doing in even setting this up.

I certainly hope it works because I have been burdened in my heart as I read comment after comment and here editorial after editorial concerning Casey Anthony and the recent verdict reached.

My purpose is to shake Americans awake to the reality that 'our opinions' are a moot point.
Casey was found not guilty by a jury oa her peers.
That is the system we have in place & it is the best system.

I am saddened to watch my fellow citizens of this great country fall prey to a hyped up media onslaught that cares only for rating regardless of the outcome.

There was a day when reporters & jouranilists were just that. Reporters and Jouranilists.  Writers and reporters of facts.

Today we have a money centered sensationalist media that feeds on the emotional side of Americans.
Americans who, because of their basic moral foundation & compassion for others are easy pickins' for a media that today has at it's disposal psychological input on ways to best capture (sell) an audience in order to increase rating, therefore increast advertising and resulting in what??? Money lined pockets.

This manipulation of our sences can cause in many people adverse and possibly dangerous reactions.

When a persons emotions are manipulated or (toyed) with, there is a reaction.
For most, in application to the Casey Anthony verdict,  it is controlled anger, disbelief or outrage.

For others, and many of our fellow citizens suffer with Bi-Polar Disorder, conduct & anxiety disorders.  Further, many Americans suffer with Schizophrena.
By pumping our minds with such an emotional roller-coaster they could be creating a very dangerous situation, for Casey Anthony yes, but for society as well.

Think about the media hype that preceded & continued to fuel the Rodney King Trial & Verdict.

Playing with emotionally fragile kids....you pick the school shooting.

All I am saying is that it is time that we take responsiblity and accept the fact the the trial is what it is.
Casey is being set free, and she should be.
Further she deserves the right to live her life in safety.
She deserves what all American deserve and had a right to:
